What it is
Most small organizations need three or four websites worth of features and have the budget for one. Enchanted Garden Shop sells consigned goods, teaches floral design as art therapy, hosts free community events, offers life coaching and counseling, and accepts donations. A visitor might arrive for any one of those.
So the home page works as a front door with three ways in: the florist and boutique, classes, and counseling. Each path has its own page, its own tone, and its own next step. Class schedules, event dates, and donation needs load live, so the people running the shop can keep them current. Behind the public pages, a private set of custom admin tools keeps that content up to date.
The palette is garden rather than retail: moss and forest greens, warm cream, a gold accent, and ruby for emphasis. Playfair Display for headings, Marcellus for labels, and Quicksand for body text give it a gentle, handmade feel without getting precious.
What is on the site
A shop, a classroom, a community calendar, a counseling center, and a donation page, each with its own address.
Boutique
More than fifty local consigners, with a different one featured each day. The boutique is not sold online, so the page is built to bring people through the door.
Floral Design Art Therapy Classes
A class schedule and prices that load live, with online signup and PayPal checkout.
Events
Free community events open to everyone, plus a form for local vendors to request a booth.
Counseling
Empowerment life coaching and counseling packages, with a separate Resources page for crisis hotlines and local victim services.
Donate
Visitors choose which current need their gift supports and see live progress before giving through PayPal.
How it is built
A nonprofit site has to be easy to keep current by the people who run it. That shaped most of the build.
The header and footer are written once as partial files and loaded into every page, so a change to the menu happens in one place. Class signups and donations run through PayPal, and the donation page reads live totals from the database so a donor can see a need filling up. The site also publishes an accessibility statement with a WCAG 2.1 AA goal.
