What it is
People who land on a counseling site are rarely browsing. They are worried about a court date, a drinking problem, or a marriage, and they want two answers quickly: is this the right kind of help, and what happens next.
The site is organized around that. Every program has its own page: an intensive outpatient program, court-approved anger management, a couples workshop and retreat, and a self-paced recovery program. Each one spells out the format, the length, and the price. The first consultation is free and confidential, and the site says so up front.
The look borrows from the foothills outside Grass Valley: deep pine, a working green, and a warm orange. A hill-to-sun gradient the stylesheet calls the horizon line ties the palette together.

How it is built
A practice site has to be fast, private, and easy to act on. This one uses a few small serverless pieces and no framework.
The contact form verifies a Turnstile token in a Pages Function before it sends anything, so the inbox stays clear of spam. Program checkout uses PayPal, so card details never touch the site. A password-protected video page is handled by middleware that sets a cookie, with no accounts or database to maintain.
